Vertical doors are probaly the single most extreme modification you can make to your car or truck to get it to stand out. The term vertical doors refers to car or truck doors that open upward (like a Lamborghini) instead of outward like every other car on the road. When you buy a "vertical door kit", you are actually buying the hinges, not actual replacement doors. You install the hinges (that normally come with shocks), and then your doors will open vertically.

There are two basic types of vertical door kits for you to choose from: universal and bolt-on. Universal vertical door kits are normally more affordable, but they are not designed specifically for your car or truck and are therefore generally more labor-intensive when it comes to installation. That being said, only universal vertical doors can open at extreme angles, like 90-degrees or more. Bolt-on vertical door kits, on the other hand, are specifically designed for your vehicle. They cost more in general, but they will be much easier to install in most cases.
