| For casting, please contact MTV directly - here are some basic guidelines: |
In order to qualify for the show you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be between the ages of 18-28 years old and legally own the vehicle you want on the show. You must have the insurance and registration of the car in your name
- Your car MUST be in running condition.
- You must live in Southern California only. If you live in the area and you would like to speed up the process to be considered for the show please e-mail MTV pictures of your car, a brief description on how your car ended up in its current condition, and your name, age, city where you live, and phone number to pmrcastingusa@mtvstaff.com.
- If you do not live in our area you can e-mail MTV @ pmrcastingusa@mtvstaff.com and include your name, phone number, pictures of your car, and a brief description of how your car ended up in the condition that it’s in, and when they decide to go nationwide with the show you will be contacted.
- You can also reach MTV on the Pimp My Ride casting hotline at 310-907-2688. If you meet the above criteria but are not able to e-mail MTV, call the hotline and leave them your name and number clearly and they will call you back to discuss auditioning for the show.
